My 20 years in Bay Area Homes has put me in the middle of some amazing projects, from Silicon Valley Castles to gutted SF Victorians.
I made my start as a Hired Gun Silicon Valley Computer Hardware Tech for Netscape, Gupta. Oracle, and Octel, among others. I then landed at Dolby Labs where I ran the Help Desk, switching ultimately to Product Testing both at Dolby and THX Lucasfilm. One day I said to myself, "Self: You need to get out of this lonely testing cave and ride forth to Living Rooms everywhere!"
After a year Designing Systems for The Good Guys, I went out on my own and Chapman Smart Homes was born! 920 projects later, here I am, still making Home Tech happen. I have been in and out of over 2000 homes all over the Bay Area, and have seen it all.
Have me calibrate your Media Room, Mount a Flatscreen, Tune up your Wifi, Program your Universal Remote, Get Vinyl going through Sonos, Recycle your old stuff, make Comcast work better, make Comcast go away, whatever works! I have never seen an Audio, Video, or Wifi issue I can't tackle!
